Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 (2017+) & 850 / 1000 Trail (2020+) aluminium skid plates have the best possible durability to weight ratio and offer superior protection over plastic analogs. Our aluminium skid plates are made from marine-grade aluminium, which is the hardest aluminium that can still be mechanically processed. The aluminium is shaped using CNC cutting, the sides are then CNC bent, and the corners of the bent sides TIG welded. The outcome is a structurally rigid skid plate that is strong and durable even in extreme conditions.

The heavy-duty upper front part of the skid set. Installation of that upper part requires the original Polaris winch mounting bracket to be installed in prior skid plate installation!

The front lower part of the skid plate must be removed in order to use the Polaris OE Glacier III snowplow system!
